After some extended research over the last two months, this week Isaac bought a guitar, an Ovation classical. I was happy to go halfsies with him. I am proud of the way Isaac did this. We went to the store several times to try different guitars. The staff were getting used to us as regular visitors. Isaac found a couple that he was very interested in. And then he researched the price on the web, which the store was happy to match.
Isaac has been taking guitar now for two years. He blew past me in ability a long time ago. I love his varied strums, chords, songs. I love how he makes up songs and chord combinations. His entry for this years Reflections entry, a creative contest at Aspen Elementary, will be an orginal guitar composition.
